The long poem "Muerte sin fin" (1939) was the master work of poet, diplomat and art critic José Gorostiza (b. Mexico 1901-1973) and is considered one of the mostrep resentative works of Spanish language poetry. This edition commemorates the poem’s 70th anniversary offering its most depurate version (without the errors of other editions) of the original text. Edition illustrated with prints by Emiliano Gironella Parra, followed by the studyof Arturo Cantú, and the French translation of Claude Couffon with the preface of Vilma Fuentes. In both Cantu’s and Fuentes’ texts, Spanish and French are on facing pages.
